BRIAN: Several months ago on a Sunday morning I was doing yard work around my house. I was moving a shrub a few yards over. And as I was attempting to move the shrub over, it suddenly became dislodged and a sharp branch went directly into my right eye.
I knew that something was seriously wrong with my eye. My wife contacted Jeff immediately. He agreed to meet me in his office on an early Sunday morning. I came in here. Jeff spent a few minutes evaluating me and decided that he had to do immediate surgery.
He did the surgery; however, because my eye was so sensitive he did warn me that, you know, it might not have taken 100% because I was in so much pain on that day.
And my eye did--I did notice a deterioration in my eyesight the following week and Dr. Zweibel and Dr. Martin Sr. were both great and helped me out; reassured me that I wasn’t going to lose my eye and that everything was going to be fine. It's just that I might need that second surgery that Jeff had warned me about on that early Sunday morning.
He was able to take his time because I didn't have the trauma from the recent impact. He cleaned out all the loose material and bacteria and since that time I've had great results.
I'm seeing 20/20 and everything is perfect. You know, I know Jeff personally and professional and he's someone that I trust implicitly with my own eyes. My family, my parents, siblings, all see Jeff on a regular basis as well.
