DR. RONALD ROTH: My name is Ronald Roth. I'm a physician in Smithtown. I had terrible eyesight. I was wearing very thick glasses. They were always very annoying to me. And when Larry was doing the LASIK surgery I asked him if he could help me. What he proposed was to fix my vision and to allow me to see up close and far away, which is unique because I would normally have had to continue to wear glasses that would allow me to read. He was able to reverse it so that one of my eyes was stronger and one of my eyes was weaker. And I was able to then focus close with no problem and I could focus distance with no problem. And when the procedure was done, which was pretty painless, there was minimal discomfort from the day of the procedure for one day. I was able to pretty much within a day or two I was glasses free, contact lens free and it was a really excellent experience. My vision to this day is perfect.
