Complimentary LASIK Consultation

LASIK consultations at our Smithtown (Long Island) office, North Shore Eye Care, are complimentary. During your consultation, we will determine if you are a candidate for LASIK.

DR. JEFFREY MARTIN: LASIK consultations at North Shore Eye Care are complimentary. You're greeted by our staff when you come to our office and then we put you through a series of tests to determine if you're a good candidate for laser vision correction. We do corneal topography, which measures the corneal map of the surface of your eye. We do corneal pechymetry, which measures the thickness of your cornea. We also examine your eye thoroughly. We then have a discussion with you about the risks and benefits. After your examination by the doctor you will meet with our surgical coordinator who will go over surgical dates as well as financing options with you. Many insurance companies also offer discounted plans, which we will also discuss with you at that time. When you leave the office from your LASIK consultation, you will know if you're a good candidate for LASIK.
