While those of us on Long Island don't live in an arid climate, as winter approaches and we rely more and more on dry heat, many people suffer with dry eyes.

 Dry eye syndrome is a very common complaint amongst the middle aged and elderly.  It has different causes and not surprisingly there are many different ways to treat this disturbing problem.
