At North Shore Eye Care in Smithtown new york in long island, we take care of patients of all ages. When a patient decides to have bladeless custom lasik or ilasik over the age of 40, they have to be prepared to still use reading glasses unless monovision is used. Monovision is the process of doing lasik on one eye for distance and one eye for close. Many patients ask us if we perform cataract surgery with laser at North Shore Eye Care in Smithtown New York.
