Dry eye is a very prevalent problem in our community and in the world. Although it seems simple, a dry ocular surface can be very difficult in regard to best corrected vision and comfort. Dry eye causes transiently blurred vision, red eye, eye pain, burning and stinging among other symptoms. Many post menopausal women have dry eye, but also, medications such as blood pressure medications and antidepressants can also cause dry eye.
