Dr. Lawrence Zweibel, Dr. Jeffrey Martin,  Dr. John Mauro and our newest associate Dr. Sonya Dhar all use state of the art cataract surgery and laser vision correction procedures. In cataract surgery, the cloudy lens of the eye or cataract is removed using phacoemulsification or computer controlled high speed ultrasound through a small incision that seals without stitches. No eye patch is necessary in most cases and needles around the eye are also not necessary. Our patients return home the very same day and experience no pain in most cases. Our board certified eye doctors and eye surgeons all specialize in intraocular implant technology including accommodating lenses like the Crystalens and the Crystalens HD. We also use multifocal implants like the Restor and the Tecnis multifocal lens. The Acrysof Toric implant reduces or eliminates astigmatism in most cases and our patients with these premium implants are able to see well without the need of glasses or contact lenses.

When it comes to laser eye surgery, our board certified eye surgeons (Dr.Jeffrey Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel and Dr. John Mauro) perform only Custom Lasik/Lasek and PRK. A thin flap using the Intralase laser is made in the superficial layer of the cornea. There are no blades used for the entire procedure. We also use Visx Customvue wavescan for a truly customized laser vision correction experience. We also use iris registration which allows the laser to align exactly with anatomic landmarks of each person's individual iris. There combination provide the most advanced LASIK vision correction procedure available. We offer 0 % financing for 2 years.
