Eye Care in Riverhead New York

Today marks the first day of North Shore Eye Care in Riverhead New York in Long Island.  Dr. Paul Choinski, Dr. Sonya Dhar, and Dr. Grace O'Malley will be the major contributors to North Shore Eye Care in Riverhead.  We will be open six days a week including evenings and Saturdays and look forward to serving the patients of the east end of Long Island.  North Shore Eye Care and Hampton Eye merged to form this impressive and state of the art eye care practice.  All the best technology will be available in Riverhead as it is in our Smithtown flagship location.  We will be treating patients with glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, eyelid problems and of course, LASIK laser vision correction will be a large part of North Shore Eye Care in Riverhead.

North Shore Eye Care has a great history on Long Island.  We were founded by Dr. Sidney Martin in 1960 and have been a great part of the community for over 50 years.  Dr. Sid Martin still works part time at 82, and his son, Dr. Jeffrey Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel and Dr. John Mauro round out the Smithtown location.  Our brand of eye care has always been the same, the best quality in diagnostic and surgical treatment in a warm, kind, and compassionate setting.  Our main Smithtown location is a large 15 lane 6000 square foot office with our recently added LASIK laser vision correction center. 

We noticed that we were seeing more patients from the east end of Long Island as our eye care practice grew.  After some time and thought, we decided to open North Shore Eye Care in Riverhead to serve the patients of the East End of Suffolk County.  We will be available for our patients in the same way that we are currently available.  We look forward to seeing you in Riverhead.  Please stop by and say hi.  We have put much thought into the construction of the office to best serve our patients.
