North Shore Eye Care, the leader in eye care in Long Island New York including locations in Riverhead and Smithtown, welcomes Dr. Sonya Dhar, glaucoma specialist.  Our board certified eye doctors are thrilled to have Dr. Dhar join our list of eye surgeons including Dr. Sidney Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel, Dr. John Mauro, Dr. Jeff Martin, Dr. Grace O'Malley, and Dr. Paul Choinski.  North Shore Eye Care is known for state of the art cataract surgery and LASIK laser vision correction.  We also provide care to Suffolk County patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, eyelid problems, dry eye, uveitis, diabetic eye problems and other eye care problems.  We are the Official LASIK Provider of the New York Mets and the Official Eye Care Provider of the New York Islanders.  In addition, our main Smithtown office was recently renovated to include 15 exam lanes with the best technology including flourescein angiography, OCT, fundus photography, IOL Master, Pentacam topography, Yag and Green laser, specular microscopy, automated visual field testing, tear lab, and many other diagnostic instruments that allow us to deliver the pinnacle of eye care in Long Island.  We are also opening the newest and most advanced LASIK center right here in our Smithtown location.
