Cataract/LASIK Care Expanding to Riverhead
North Shore Eye Care is expanding to Riverhead. This will complement our main office in Smithtown Long Island in New York. Our focus remains the same... excellent eye care for our LASIK and cataract patients as well sa care for those with macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eye, eyelid probems and diabetic eye disease. North Shore Eye Care was founded by Dr. Sidney Martin in 1962 and now Dr. Larry Zweibel, Dr. Jeff Martin, Dr. John Mauro and Dr. Sonya Dhar complete the team of board certified eye surgeons at our Smithtown location. We also have a great hearing service in our Suffolk County office lead by Dr. Robyn Shapiro, a wonderful doctor of audiology. Our new 6000 square foot office is state of the art with the best diagnostic equipment and an excellent kind and courteous staff.
The New LASIK Center
We are currently finishing a brand new amazing LASIK Center right in our Smithtown location. This center will feature the iLASIK suite with Wavescan, Intralase, and the VISX Star S4 IR laser. Our LASIK experts will perform all bladeless and custom LASIK using the best equipment. Our doctors have vast experience in laser vision correction and have been recognized by Top Doctors: New York Metro Area by Castle Connolly as seen in Newsday, the New York Times, New York Magazine and other publications. The New Riverhead Location
As if that was not enough in one year, we are opening a brand new spectacular eye care facility in Riverhead New York. North Shore Eye Care is merging with Hampton Eye and taking on two excellent board certified eye doctors, Dr. Grace O'Malley and Dr. Paul Choinski. With these two cataract and LASIK surgeons joining the North Shore Eye Care team in Riverhead, we are able to continue our attention to the best in eye care all over Long Island. Our goal is to create an eye center with the best testing equipment and an amazing staff to make you comfortable and confident with your eye care. Dr. Sonya Dhar, a glaucoma specialist and cataract expert, will be avaiable in Riverhead to build relationships with the people of the east end of Long Island. We are sure that our eye care services will fit well into the great population of the eastern Long Island.
