This means that we make the flap as the first part of the LASIK procedure using Intralase, a bladeless laser instead of a mechanical blade microkeratome.  Intralase provides safety and precision beyond a blade microkeratome.  We then use a Wavemap that is obtained by our iLASIK suite that represents a map of your unique visual system much like your fingerprint.  This information is transferred to the VISX Star S4 IR laser and the correction is completed.  There is automatic tracking and centering as well as iris registration for added precision of correction.  This all adds up to the best vision possible for each patient.  We back up our LASIK procedure with a LIFETIME COMMITMENT.  We are the Official LASIK Provider of the New York Mets and the Official Eye Care Provider of the New York Islanders.  We also offer zero percent financing for two years if our patients desire.
