Today, in the comfort of our own state of the art waiting room, North Shore eye care in long island conducted its complimentary cataract surgery seminar. The cataract seminar will be given by North Shore Eye Care's own Dr. Jeffrey Martin. With fall rolling here, North Shore eye care in long island is having its complimentary cataract surgery seminar.  The cataract seminar will be given by one of our well known board certified cataract surgeons discussing the details of cataracts as well as cataract surgery. Our board certified eye surgeons (Dr. Larry Zweibel, Dr.Jeffrey Martin and Dr. John Mauro) strive to provide the best results for our patients.   North Shore eye care in long island is always on the cutting edge of technology and enjoys giving back to the community by having its complimentary cataract surgery seminar.

Dr. Jeff Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel and Dr. John Mauro, will be conducting  monthly seminars to afford  patients better education in their decision to have cataract surgery.  Cataract surgery is an outpatient procedure that is conducted under IV and the use of topical numbing eye drops and therefore do not use needles around the eyes, stitches, or even an eye patch following surgery.  Patients then have the opportunity to choose a standard IOL or upgrade to a premium implant that reduces or eliminates the need for glasses at all distances.  These implants are called Crystalens, Restor, Toric lenses for astigmatism and Tecnis Multifocal.  All are welcome to come and refreshments and desert will be served. All of our doctors perform pre and postoperative exams as well as the surgery itself to give you the opportunity at the best result. Dr. Jeffrey Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel and Dr John Mauro continue with the tradition of complete family eye care and specialize in ilasik bladeless custom lasik as well as advanced cataract surgery.
