A New LASIK Center

In the midst of our expansion and continued progression as a leading eye care provider in Suffolk County, we are opening the newest and most up to date LASIK Center in our Smithtown location.  There are many important points that make a LASIK center state of the art.  Of course, we use the best technology with the iLASIK platform.  This makes each laser eye surgery procedure blade-free and customized.  In our board certified LASIK specialists opinion, bladeless custom LASIK is the only way to go.  We use Intralase to make a flap in the superficial layers of the cornea and the VISX Star S4 laser with automatic tracking and centering as well as iris registration for the very best result every time.  Only about 50 % of LASIK surgeons use bladeless LASIK, but the safety profile of this technology have made our surgeons abandon blades completely.
