North Shore eye care is a specialty eye care practice in suffolk county long island.  Our smitihtown new york ophthalmology practice is staffed by four board certified eye surgeons with visiting eye doctors in retinal care and oculoplastics or eye plastic surgery.  Our eye doctors specialize in comprehensive eye care including advanced cataract surgery and bladeless custom lasik or ilasik.  Our patients are greeted by our warm and professional staff at our new 6000 square foot facility.  We recently renovated and enlarged our eye facility to improve patient care and decrease wait times.  We have invested in the best technology including Pentacam corneal topography, fluorescein angiography, and Optical Coherence Tomography.  We are currently performing our laser vision correction in our article 28 state regulated surgery center, but plan to bring our lasik suite to our practice location.  This would enhance the laser eye surgery experience for our patients.

At North Shore eye care, we care for patients who need cataract surgery and laser vision correction, we care for patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, eye lid problems both cosmetic and functional, and offer comprehensive eye care to children and adults.  We recently added hearing services with Dr. Robyn Shapiro a certified doctor of audiology.  She is an excellent hearing specialist and has a warm and compassionate way.
