Our oculoplastic ophthalmologist, Dr Neil Nichols, is board certified and has been providing care for eyelid problems such as droopy eyelids and eyelid malposition for several years in our community.  He also has expertise in treating cosmetic eyelid problems with botox and blepharoplasty.  He is available for consultation for all eyelid conditions and is happy to continue the tradition of kindness and compassion that defines North Shore eye care.

Also in our smithtown new york office in long island, we are now providing expert retinal care including eye care for macular degeneration, retinal tears and detachments as well as diabetic eye care and laser for diabetic retinopathy.  We have ability to do OCT, the most advanced way to image the retina and FA, which is a way to image the retina after injecting a chemical dye into the blood stream.  Our patients have been pleased with the expanded services and are happy to get all of their eye care in one location.
