North Shore eye care, a leader in eye care including bladeless custom lasik and advanced cataract surgery, is very close to the expansion that has been a year in the making. We will expand our services to include oculoplastic surgery, retina including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy and we are adding hearing services. Our board certified eye surgeons, Dr. Sidney Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel, Dr. Jeffrey Martin, and Dr. John Mauro have been providing the best in eye care for years right here in long island new york. Our smithtown eye care office in suffolk county will be open extended hours including evenings and saturdays. The great thing about the expansion is that the eye doctors will be able to work more efficiently and take better care of our patients in a timely fashion.
Adding hearing services is our way to try to take even better more thorough care of our patients. Many of our patients are older and also have hearing difficulty. Dr. Robyn Shapiro, a doctor of audiology will be available for hearing exams and hearing device fitting. She has 10 years experience in audiology and we are making sure that this service is seamless for our patients. Many of the services are covered by insurance.
