North Shore eye care is represented at the annual American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting in Chicago
Dr. Jeffrey Martin of North Shore eye care has been asked to be part of a cataract surgery panel at the annual American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting in Chicago. North Shore eye care is excited to receive recognition at the national level. The three board certified eye surgeons at our eye care facility, Dr. Jeffrey Martin, Dr. Larry Zweibel and Dr. John Mauro has been consistently seen as leaders in eye care and especially laser vision correction and advanced cataract surgery. To that point, Dr. Jeff Martin was thrilled to be on a panel of four nationally recognized speakers in a symposium of Torsional Cataract surgery. This is a cutting edge technology that our eye doctors use every week in cataract surgery and has allowed our cataract surgery to become more efficient and safer. Our practice performs many cataract surgery procedures each year, many using premium intraocular lens implants designed to reduce the need for glasses and contact lenses by allowing an increased range of vision at all distances.
This weekend in Chicago, Dr. Martin will join Dr. Alan Crandall from Salt Lake City, Dr. John Freeman of Tennesse, Dr. Andy Moyes of Kansas City, and Dr. Rosa Braga-Mele of Canada in a great discussion about the latest advances and improvements in modern cataract surgery
