North Shore eye care was founded by Dr. Sidney Martin in 1963 and later grew into the leader in advanced eye care along with the addition of Dr. Larry Zweibel, Dr. Jeff Martin, Dr. John Mauro, and Dr. Neil Nichols. We specialize in laser eye surgery and laser vision correction as well as glaucoma, retinal conditions like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration and eyelid problems. Dr. Neil Nichols is an oculoplastic surgeon who recently joined North Shore eye care. He specializes in lid problems such as everting or inverting lids.. ectropion or ectropion. He also handles droopy upper eyelids called ptosis and does cosmetic blepharoplasty for improvement of those signs of age that appear in all of us.
Our state of the art eye care office in smithtown new york in long island is also expanding from 3000 to 6000 square feet to accommodate our growth and the addition of our retinal specialist and our eye plastic surgeon.
