At North Shore Eye Care our surgeons have over 30 years experience with cataract surgery.  Using only the latest equipment we are also familiar with the vast array of lens implant options that can afford patients spectacle indepence.  This includes such lenses as multifocal lenses, accommadative lenses, as well as toric lenses that correct astigmatism.  All surgery can be performed on an outpatient basis usually requiring only 2 hours of stay at the state of the art facility.  The surgery is painless requiring only mild sedation offered by a Board Certified Anesthesiologist.  All of our eye surgeons including Drs. Lawrence Zweibel, Dr. Jeff Martin, and Dr. John  Mauro are likewise board certified.
