North Shore Eye Care offering full laser vision correction evaluations

Our bladeless custom lasik procedure uses Intralase to form a superficial flap in the cornea. This is the safest and most precise way to make a flap. We then use Visx Customvue to make a custom waveprint or wavemap so that the laser vision correction is completely customized to your unique visual system. We use iris registration in every lasik procedure possible which helps to exactly line up the lasik laser eye surgery with your eye and it also automatically centers and tracks your eye movements during the laser vision correction surgery. In order to finance this wonderful life changing lasik bladeless custom lasik procedue, we offer two year zero interest financing through Care Credit. Many of our patients enjoy lasik financing so that they can strech out the financial burden with no interest.

Many patients are anxious about laser vision correction. The feeling that things might not go well keeps them from having laser eye surgery and that fear can be difficult for them to deal with. Even when patients continue to get infections and intolerance symptoms, they still feel that contact lenses are much safer than laser vision correction. Once contact lens intolerance begins, usually it leads to the point where patients can not comfortably wear contact lenses for any period of time. The eyes of these patients tend to be red and irritated and the risk of corneal infection or corneal ulceration with significant risk of vision loss becomes more prevalent. Contact lens related corneal infections can be severe and vision threatening. Any eye doctor or eye surgeon that has been around long enough has seen permanent vision loss secondary to contact lens related corneal ulcerations.

In New York including Suffolk and Nassau County, we offer free laser vision correction evaluations on all patients from smithtown, nesconset, saint james, kings park, commack, stony brook, setauket, port jefferson, islip, islandia, holbrook, holtsville, bohemia, ronkonkoma, hauppauge, lake grove, sayville, bay shore, babylon, lindenhurst, and many other towns such as farmingdale, and farmingville.
