We then use Customvue in the Visx laser using Wavescan Waveprint Wavemapping to get a unique and specific ablation for each patient's unique eyes. This way of customizing the laser vision correction is far more accurate than using the noncustom platform. We strongly feel that only bladeless Intralase and Customvue is the only way to proceed with laser vision correction.

For those with high prescriptions, thin corneas, irregular corneas, or moderate dry eyes, Custom PRK or surface ablation, sometimes called epi-lasik or lasek may still be possible and a better choice.
